After years of success launching brick-and-mortar businesses, guiding others as they fulfilled their dreams of hanging a sign above the door, and mastering the miles of legal red tape involved in starting a business with a physical address it seemed that suddenly all that knowledge and expertise was for naught as the internet became the new “corner office with a view” for Entrepreneurs and CEOs – everything had changed.

Always up to a solid challenge and determined to stay relevant in all things related to starting up a business, I took the plunge – face first into the deep end of the dotcom pool.  It felt like I was drowning – social media was the new billboard, logos were the new business card, websites were landing pages not home pages, emails are the saleperson, cellphones are the remote control to the business… it was daunting to say the least.  And, funnels?  What the heck does a funnel have to do with money in my pocket???  (Pssst – spoiler alert – the answer is EVERYTHING!)

Having mastered these (and about 3,821 other) digital tasks, I found comfort that establishing procedures was still critical, that it didn’t cost thousands of dollars to start a new business, and most of the headaches of a brick-and-mortar had vanished with this new model and I LOVED IT.  The passion to guide others to success was hotter than ever and burned deeper in my soul than before.  This was WAY easier to dominate than traditional business had been.
